Motivation is key

How do I motivate myself? The first step is to understand why you want to make changes. Why do you need to improve yourself? Is there anything holding you back? Once you know your reasons, you can start planning how to achieve your goals. Think about how different your life will be when you make these changes. Do you see yourself being happier, more successful, more popular, healthier, less stressed and wealthier?

Plan out the ways you want to change. Redesign yourself as the best you that you could possibly be. Be ambitious about it! Planning and thinking about it is the first step and will boost your motivation. So get started, plan your self improvement journey now. Today is the first day of the rest of your life, make it happen! 

Write it Down

Make a list of ways you want to improve. Once you have decided all the changes you are looking to make you can prioritize and decide what to begin with. Here is an example list:

  • Lose 5 pounds in weight by the end of July.
  • Drink more water every day
  • Be confident and speak more in meetings at work
  • Go to the gym 3 mornings a week
